The project was completed over 2 weeks, running from 27 April 2026 to 11 May 2026. The work began with the removal and disposal of the existing kitchen, followed by the first-fix electrical and plumbing upgrades needed to support the new layout and appliance arrangement.
The electrician completed the initial cabling for additional sockets and new downlights, while the plumbing was reconfigured with the hot and cold feeds and waste outlet rerouted to suit the revised kitchen plan. The existing ceiling was then overboarded and fully plastered, ensuring the room was properly prepared before the new kitchen installation began.
Once the kitchen was fitted, wall tiling was completed throughout the kitchen space to replace the old finishes and create a more cohesive overall look. The electrician then returned for the final-fix stage, fitting socket fronts, downlights and completing the final electrical connections.
