This project brought us back to the home of Julija Gedris, a returning customer who previously trusted us with her bathroom renovation. Impressed by the professionalism and care in our work, she turned to us once again—this time for a full kitchen transformation in her Chesterfield home.
Julija’s kitchen renovation was driven by the need to modernise and optimise an outdated space that no longer met her daily needs. The existing layout was closed off and inefficient, so she knew it was time for a change. Julija’s kitchen area felt small and cluttered, due to the closed-off layout with walls that blocked any natural light from peeking in. She wanted a modern, open-plan kitchen that would be bright, functional and suitable for cooking and entertaining guests. To open up the living space, walls were removed, and a window was bricked up to improve the layout of the room and give it some flow.
A soft, neutral colour palette was chosen to create a calm, cohesive atmosphere that blends well with the rest of the house. High quality cabinets were installed for a sleek look, paired with durable worktops that balance aesthetics with everyday living, and wood flooring to give the kitchen a homey feel to it.
The project started with careful planning to make sure everything went smoothly. The old kitchen was taken out thoughtfully to get the space ready for the new design. Walls were removed to open up the room and bring in more natural light, and a window was bricked up to improve the layout—all handled expertly by the builders. The electrical and plumbing work was done in stages by certified pros, making sure everything was safe and up to code. High-quality cabinets and durable worktops were fitted with care, and warm wood flooring added a cozy touch. With attention to detail and good communication throughout, the whole project ran without a hitch, leaving Julija with a kitchen she truly loves.
The finished kitchen is not only modern and stylish but also practical and spacious, exactly what Julija hoped for. She was thrilled with the overall design and colour choices, saying it went beyond her expectations. The space is now welcoming and bright, perfect for entertaining and cooking.
